Bio

My writing career began in second grade when I printed my first story while practicing penmanship. How could it be called penmanship when I had to print with a pencil? Such are the mysteries of second graders. I also illustrated my story with crayons, although I was never meant to be an artist. Something called depth perception interfered with that career. Printing gave way to cursive.
I’m sure it was called that due to the ensuing cursing, although as a sweet little girl, I, of course, would never do such a thing. Pencils became pens. Pens eventually were replaced by computers that involved much more cursing. From some people. And all the while, the stories continued.
Fast forwarding, I now write contemporary romantic suspense novels without the aid of crayons, and I can see a paranormal romantic suspense in my future.
I’m a Pro member of Romance Writers of America, Colorado Romance Writers, and Kiss Of Death.
I live at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with my amazing husband and an alpha male cockatiel who thinks he owns the family room. We do volunteer work for our local police department, and we are blessed with a wonderful son and daughter-in-law.
